Martingrove Gardens Etobicoke

Originally in spring 2010, the goal was to upgrade existing equipment and add a water feature to our sad neighborhood park, Martingrove Gardens Park in Etobicoke.

After contacting Area Councillor Gloria Lindsay Luby, we were encouraged to fund raise.

We became partners with Toronto Park & Trees Foundation making us a much more credible organization and able to pursue donations.

After several fund raisers, the park was selected to be filmed on a new TV show "GIVER".
Money generated from the fundraising is to go to the renovation taking place and being filmed on Aug. 19-21st.

Local Martingrove Gardens business woman, Monica Thapar of Remax Diamond Realty, generously supported the community BBQ and fun day in the park that raised approximately $5000.

Monica Thapar of Remax Diamond Realty also has pledged $5000 towards the renovations to the park.

The City of T.O. is pledging $10 000.
The TV Show Giver is pledging $10 000.
$4000 grant towards landscaping.

The Producer of the TV Show Giver has selected children who were in the park on the evening of August 8th, to be involved in the filming of the show on August 19 - 21st.
